Biography
Maribel Vergara-Bunich, FNP, is a bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner passionate about closing the gap in healthcare access for underserved communities. Driven by the need for more culturally responsive care, she is committed to listening closely, treating compassionately, and educating patients to better understand and manage their health.
FNP Vergara-Bunich earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse in North Carolina and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Her clinical focus includes family medicine with specialized training in acute and critical care, particularly in stroke, myocardial, and pulmonary conditions. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she fosters trust and clarity for patients of diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
