Maria Couts, MSN, FNP-BC

Maria Couts, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is deeply committed to serving her community with empathy, education, and culturally sensitive care. Fluent in English and Spanish, she takes pride in helping patients better understand their health conditions and empowering them to take an active role in their wellness—especially those more comfortable communicating in their native language.

FNP Couts earned her Master of Science in Family Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2006, after completing her undergraduate degree in Nursing with a major in Biology in 1994.

She specializes in family medicine and brings decades of hands-on experience in patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, being active in her church, mountain biking, and attending fashion shows with her daughter.
